Thirty-three-year-old Gareth Chambers is CEO of Newry-headquartered Around Noon, Northern Ireland Company of the Year 2017 (UTV / Business Eye Awards) and a UK Sunday Times Fast-track 100 business 2017.
Around Noon, which employs almost 300 people in Newry and London, makes handheld food including sandwiches, wraps, salads, juices and bakery items. It counts some of the largest coffee shop chains, convenience retailers and forecourt retailers in the UK and Ireland as clients.
Having completed an MBO in 2016, Gareth has grown Around Noon’s turnover from £2million to almost £25m, through impressive organic growth, as well as through acquisitions of Dublin and London based businesses.
In 2017, Gareth led the company to 13 major awards, including three Sammies, the Oscars of the UK sandwich industry, and awards for enterprise, leadership and innovation.
A food fanatic and a passionate leader, Gareth has a vision to lead Around Noon to £100m in turnover and beyond.
